Scotland's Low Emission Zones — in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee — are stricter than London's ULEZ. You can't pay a daily charge to enter: non-compliant vehicles are simply banned, and driving in anyway means a penalty (from £60, doubling on repeat offences).
The emissions standard is the same as ULEZ: petrol cars need to be Euro 4 or newer, diesels Euro 6 or newer. Electric and hydrogen vehicles are always allowed.
